 Motivation is what drives you into achieving goals
in life.
 Motivation acts like a sort of adrenaline rush in
the blood stream. It’s the fuel that keeps the fire
burning within 
 But like any fuel, motivation can also run out.
 Motivation is something that needs to be renewed
daily.
 Just like when the fire is low you add more wood!

 Think positive! – the connection between mind and
body is very strong.

 Knowing what one wants
"The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE Keep this
constantly in mind.
Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire
makes a small amount of heat." ~ Napoleon Hill
 A great warrior addressing his men “You see
the boats going up in smoke. That means
that we cannot leave these shores alive
unless we win! We now have no choice we
win – or we perish!

5. Goal Setting – 6 Steps (N. Hill)
1. Fix in your mind the exact amount of money
you desire.
2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in
return for the money you desire.
3. Establish a definite date when you intend to
possess the money you desire

Create a definite plan for carrying out your
desire, and begin at once, whether you are
ready or not, to put this plan into action
5. Write out a clear, concise statement of the
amount of money you intend to acquire, name
the time limit for its acquisition, state what you
intend to give in return for the money, and
describe clearly the plan through which you
intend to accumulate it.
6. Read your written statement aloud, twice daily,
once just before retiring at night, and once after
arising in the morning. As you read – see, feel
& believe yourself ALREADY in possession of

 Procrastination is the opposite of Decision
 People with fortunes have a habit of reaching
decisions promptly, and change these decisions
slowly, if at all
 Indecision is taught to us early in this country
through our school systems
 Choosing an occupation ( whatever comes along
first)
 Expect, Plan and Demand your Desires!

 The sustained effort necessary to induce faith
 The basis of persistence is the Power Of Will
(will-power)
 Lack of persistence is one of the major causes of
failure
 If your Desire is great enough (your “why”) you
will find a way to continue with your plan
 With persistence will come SUCCESS!
