This document discusses open data and transparency in the Basque Country. It notes that in 2010, the Basque Government committed to launching an open data portal called opendata.euskadi.net to release public sector information in reusable formats with open licenses. The main objectives of Open Data Euskadi are to generate value, promote government transparency, and enable interoperability between administrations by facilitating the creation of services using data from different agencies.
