11.  To describe what will/will not happen in the future
Ejemplo: Nos veremos mañana después de desayunar.
We will see each other tomorrow after eating breakfast.
 What is probably true/likely to happen
Ejemplo: Ana estará contenta porque está buceando.
Ana is probably happy because she is scuba diving.
 Wondering about the present time
Ejemplo: Jorge no está en clase. ¿Estará enfermo?
(Me pregunto si estará enfermo.)
Jorge isn’t in class today. I wonder if he’s sick?

12.  IR + A + INFINITIVE
◦ For actions that will occur in
the near future, the present
tense is more commonly used:
 Mañana vamos a bucear.
Tomorrow we’re going to scuba
dive.
 INFINITIVE + ENDING
◦ Further in the future, use the
future tense:
 El año que viene, iré a España.
Next year I’m going to Spain.
