The Mission of the Office of Small Business

• The Lead Center for Missouri is MU Extension; our
state SBTDC office is located in Columbia, MO
• Missouri State University is a SBTDC Host Institution
• The Missouri SBTDC statewide network is an
accredited member of the America’s SBDC network

• What We Do: Provide management assistance to
small business owners in the form of one-on-one
counseling, training seminars, assistance with SBA
loans and technical assistance.
• Who We Serve: Anyone who is interested in starting a
small business or in expanding an already existing
business (for profit) is eligible to use SBTDC services.
• What We Don't Do: No financing, tax or legal advice.
