Pastor Ruiz is originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and has spent years studying the Word of God at various institutions and has graduated with honors from all of them; Northeastern Assemblies of God Bible Institute, Grace and Peace Bible Institute, and Inter American Theological University. In addition, he attended John Maxwell's leadership course, LiderUSA, and graduated in 2016. Presently, he is studying secondary education at Moravian College. Pastor Jose's career in ministry has included both shepherding and teaching. He was ordained through the Defenders of the Christian Faith Movement, Inc. (USA),
