Este documento proporciona instrucciones en 3 pasos para: 1) subir una presentación de PowerPoint a SlideShare, 2) copiar el código HTML de la presentación en SlideShare, y 3) pegar el código HTML en el blog de la cátedra para incrustar la presentación. Esto permite compartir fácilmente presentaciones en línea sin perder efectos a través de un enlace embebido.

Dominic Smith is Vice President and General Manager, Computed Tomography (CT) at Philips Healthcare. Previously, Mr. Smith was Vice President Computed Tomography (CT), Nuclear Medicine and Clinical Science. Mr. Smith graduated with a Masters in Math from Trinity College in Dublin and later pursued his MBA at The University of Edinburgh.
Dr. Ros received his MD and PhD, from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain his native city and completed his Residency and Fellowship at Mount Sinai Medical Center/University of Miami. He obtained a Master of Public Heath (Health Care Policy and Management) at the Harvard School of Public Health.
Currently, Dr. Ros serves as The Theodore J. Castele University Professor and Chairman, Department of Radiology of University Hospitals Case Medical Center and Case Western Reserve University and Radiologist-in-Chief of University Hospitals Health System.
His prior positions include Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiologic Pathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington DC, Professor of Radiology and Associate Chairman at the University of Florida and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and Executive Vice-Chair and Associate Radiologist-in-Chief at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. In Boston, he also served as Director and Chief Operating Officer of Partners Radiology and Chief of Radiology at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
His over 300 publications and 18 textbooks are primarily in Abdominal and Oncologic Imaging focusing on liver, pancreatic, mesenteric and gastrointestinal cross-sectional imaging with pathologic correlation. He holds eleven editorial positions including past Associate Editor of Radiology.
Dr. Ros is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology, the Society of Computed Body Tomography/MRI, and The Society of Abdominal Radiology. He is an Honorary Fellow of the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology and an Honorary Member of 10 National and International Radiological Societies.
In 2010, Dr. Ros received a $38 million government-academic-industry grant to establish the Global Imaging Innovation Center.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. 1. Instrucciones para subir presentaciones en Power Point a Slide Share e
incrustarlos en el blog de la cátedra

Slideshare (http://www.slideshare.net) es un sitio que -del mismo modo que el
Youtube) permite compartir archivos en línea, en este caso, de presentaciones del tipo
Power Point. Simplemente se pueden subir presentaciones hechas en ese programa, o
crearlas en el mismo sitio de Slideshare.
Una vez que se ha creado la presentación, queda disponible en el sitio en formato Flash,
se la puede reproducir en el mismo o bien a través de un enlace embebido se la puede
incorporar en cualquier sitio o weblog.
De esta manera se resuelve el viejo problema de las presentaciones en Power Point, que
encontraban grandes dificultades para compartirse a través de la Web.
Eso sí: se pierden los efectos y transiciones que tiene el Power Point, y se puede avanzar
un slide por vez. El sitio cuenta además con un buscador y a igual que los videos de
Youtube, se las puede enviar fácilmente por correo electrónico para recomendarlas.
1. Cómo subir una presentación de Power Point a Slide Share
Lo primero que hay que hacer es registrarse en Slideshare (www.slideshare.net). Una
vez registrado, se está en condiciones de subir presentaciones en Power Point. Para ello,
previamente se debe tener creada la presentación en Power Point. Debemos clickear en
"Upload" (subir) y, si no es que se abre automáticamente, seleccionar debajo de
"Upload" la opción "Single Upload". Veremos que se abre una página con una serie de
ítems a llenar: clickeando en "Examinar" podemos buscar la presentación en Power
Point que tengamos en la PC o en donde la tengamos. Luego debemos ingresar un título,
una descripción breve de la presentación y una serie de palabras clave o etiquetas
("Tags") para facilitar luego a los usuarios que puedan encontrar a presentación que Ud.
está subiendo., como el título de la presentación.. Una vez completados todo esos
campos, clickeamos en "Upload" y listo. Debemos esperar algunos minutos hasta que
Slideshare cree la presentación.
2. 2. Cómo incrustar una presentación de Slideshare en el blog de la cátedra
Del mismo modo que hacemos con Youtube, para incrustar una presentación en el blog
de la cátedra (en otras páginas y blogs el procedimiento es igual), primero hay que
copiar el código html que provee Slideshare. Una vez que la presentación ha sido
subida, la podemos visualizar, y veremos que al costado derecho aparece una dirección
en código html, bajo el título "embed in your blog" (como aparece destacado en la
imagen debajo).
3. Debemos copiar esa dirección clickeando sobre la misma y luego con las teclas Ctrl. V
o bien, con el botón derecho del mouse seleccionar "Copiar".
Luego debemos ir al sistema de publicación del blog, Newsblog (www.newsblog.e-
pol.com.ar/admin.php), ingresando con las claves de usuario personales. Se debe
ingresar a "Administrar Noticias" y entrar por "Editar" a la noticia anteriormente subida.
Nos situamos en la caja de texto del Copete y clickeando sobre el botón de código html
que está en la parte superior de la caja de texto, sobre el extremo derecho, que tiene los
signos <> y que está destacado en la imagen más abajo. Veremos que toda la
información que allí aparece se transforma en código html. Clickeamos en un sector de
esa caja de texto y pegamos el código anteriormente copiado en Slideshare. También
podemos insertar el video en el espacio del contenido de la noticia. Una vez realizado,
clickeamos debajo en "Confirmar" y listo.
Si vemos que el procedimiento no se pudo hacer exitosamente, se puede ingresar
nuevamente a la noticia (siempre por "Editar") y repetir la operación hasta que salga
bien.
