El documento resume las negociaciones entre la Unión Europea y Ecuador para un acuerdo comercial. Se concluyó el primer round de negociaciones con "progreso significativo" y se permitió avanzar en aspectos que beneficiarían el comercio e inversión entre los bloques. 14. The EU and Ecuador progress in
negotiations for a trade agreement
• The European Union (EU) and Ecuador concluded with "significant progress" the
first round of work since they decided to resume the negotiations for a trade
agreement bloc already signed with Colombia and Peru.
• "Good preparation and active engagement of both parties has allowed important
progress throughout the week of talks towards an outcome that would benefit
trade and investment between the EU and Ecuador, at the time that takes into
account the key sensitivities of the two sides", he said the European Commission
(EC) in a statement, at the end of the round.
