2. ABOUT ME
✓ 5 years ago I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
mellitus.
✓ After testing several applications and verify that all of
them were simples data logs, I decided to do it myself.
✓ SocialDiabetes was created in order to improve my
quality of life and so not to rely on my illness. I wanted
the diabetes adapt to me and not in a oposite way.
✓ When we saw that the system was working for me, I
thought it could help other people with the same
disease. That was the reason why we set up a team.
Tha’ts the reason why we are here!
✓ The APP is now participating in a clinical trial, where
60 patiens from two universitary hospitals are using it.
