This rubric provides criteria for assessing students' debates with ratings from 1 to 4. It evaluates the organization of arguments, use of contrary arguments, supporting facts, clarity of information, and presentation/language skills. For each criterion, it describes the skills and qualities demonstrated by students to receive excellent, good, fair, or needs improvement ratings.
