1. myFleaTrap test results
Westham Innovations, in cooperation with Kansas State University (KSU), has
researched and developed a home and outdoor flea trap for retail use. After study and
testing of many methods, the joined effort has produced an environmentally safe, brightly
designed, affective trap, brand-named: myFleaTrap.
myFleaTrap was tested vs. three US common flea traps: Happy Jack, NUPO and Hartz.
The four traps were tested by entomologists in Israel and in KSU.
Tests in Israel:
Outdoor tests, Oct. 2006:
When compared to other flea traps, the myFleaTrap has caught over eight thousand
fleas, where the other traps caught 1200 at best and less.
In-house tests, Nov. 2006:
When compared to other flea traps, the myFleaTrap has caught over 130 fleas, while at
the same time other traps caught only 6 to 20 fleas.
Tests at KSU:
Indoor Tests Dec. 2006:
When compared to three other flea traps, the myFleaTrap caught an average of 87% of
the fleas trapped following six repetitions of the experiment per couple (myFleaTrap and
the contested).
