Swiss men came to Colombia
with his futurist vision: Don
Max Bazinger and Walter
Goggel. They initiated the

production of milk and when
they knew Sopó valley,
remained fascinated by his
similarity with the Swiss
landscape.

History
Colanta's History initiates in
the department of Antioch and
byline from the year 1964,
where it was crossed by a hard
situation for the producers of
milk. Colanta is the biggest
lacteal company of Colombia

current economy,
transforming to our country in

comes to Venezuela, Ecuador, Center America,
The Carib, Spain and The United States. For
the company, his competitiveness on the
international market fortifies furthermore,
since today his ISO certificate gets 9001 for
the qualit system in the processes of design,
manufacture and primary distribution of
fermented drinks and arequipe in Facatativa's
plant.

According to Colanta, during 1999 the
country managed to be consolidated
as exporter of milk in powder due to
the fact that the company exported to
the international market the
equivalent to 52 million liters of milk,
for a value of 15 million dollars.
