AVELINA MORENO SCHOOL
Our school is a widely
known educational
institution that is located
in Socorro, Santander.
It has been recognized
as one of the best
schools by the results in
external tests like

3. Our 11th grade students are
enthusiastic, creative people
who dream about their future
a lot.
They are thinking of being
successful in their future
career and they are willing to
take risks in life.
They have the same
problems as most of the
young people do today.
However, school is the
place where they can find
support and help.
They love using ICT in their
classroom
4. Problem
The 11th grade students of Avelina Moreno
School have difficulty in learning the
vocabulary related to business.
ICT can play an excellent role as motivating
resources to help them in this task.
6. What was expected…
Through this project it was expected the
students, more motivated by using ICT, would be
able to learn new vocabulary related to
business easily and effectively.
7. Learning Activity 1
Presenting the students new vocabulary
through interesting material to attract
their attention such as: listening
materials, texts with graphics and
pictures even movies. So they are
introduced with new vocabulary in a fun
way and in real context with the real
images
8. Involving the students into the online
activities, interactive exercises and games.
The students enjoy them because they like
to use ICT not only because it is challenging
but also because it is a part of their
everyday lives.

9. Creating varied and resourceful
activities and games
(crosswords, videos, matching,
cloze, mix, quizzes, hangman...)
using ICT when presenting new
words.
This is an important role of the
teacher.
