Inteligência Artificial no Varejo
New account fraud: Accurately distinguish between legitimate and high-risk customer account registrations (so you can selectively introduce additional steps or checks based on risk).
Online payment fraud: Reduce online payment fraud, by flagging suspicious online payment transactions, before processing payments and fulfilling orders.
Guest checkout fraud: Spot potential fraudsters among customers without transaction histories. You can send as little as two pieces of data from a guest checkout order (for example, email, IP address) to assess its potential fraud risk.
Fake reviews abuse: Detect potentially fraudulent or fake reviews so that you can review prior to posting.
Automated model creation
Amazon Fraud Detector fully automates the creation of machine learning models that identify potential fraud for common online activities such as new account creations, online payments, and guest checkouts. The automated model building process takes care of all the heavy lifting for you such as data validation and enrichment, feature engineering, algorithm selection, hyperparameter tuning, and model deployment. You simply upload your dataset, select the model type and Amazon Fraud Detector automatically finds the best fitting fraud detection ML model. No coding or previous machine learning experience is required.
Amazon SageMaker integration
If you have already created a fraud detection model in Amazon SageMaker, you can bring it to Amazon Fraud Detector in order to stop even more fraud. You can use both your Amazon SageMaker and Amazon Fraud Detector models in your application to detect different types of fraud. For example, your application can use the Amazon Fraud Detector model to assess the fraud risk of customer accounts and simultaneously use your Amazon SageMaker model to check for account compromise risk.
A single interface to review and audit your predictions and detection logic
Using the Amazon Fraud Detector console you can easily search and review your past fraud evaluations to audit detection logic. Once you have your desired evaluations you can view the data received for these events, the detection logic applied during the evaluation, and the conditions that resulted in a fraud prediction outcome.
Data enrichment: example IP to country, ISP, city
Transformation: category, continues digits, raw data into features that can be directly used by machine learning models
Feature engineering: words to vector, PCA, Imputation, Handling Outliers, Binning, Log Transform, scaling, feature split (email, name and domain)
We continued our investment in machine learning starting using deep learning models, which we deployed in 2015. We saw a step function change in our accuracy.

Amazon Forecast is able to handle tricky situations such as spiky data and irregular seasonality. Forecast will fill in missing values with “zero” or “not a number”. Deep learning in Amazon Forecast is able to use meta data to estimate demand for new product launches or pick up nuances from the data to estimate product discontinuation more accurately. Using related data time series, you can provide future price values to more accurately predict product demand.
Amazon and AWS have been leading innovation for the retail industry. And much of this is possible because of the flexible architecture that underpins the systems. Let’s take a look at a few of those innovations.
The technology for cashierless checkout in the Amazon Go stores has been productized under the name “Just Walk Out.” Retailers that are interested in this product should review https://www.justwalkout.com.
Amazon is testing the Dash Cart in grocery stores. The cart has a touchscreen where the shopper can register, then as items are placed in the cart, they are scanned and tallied. There’s no need to checkout – you just go straight out the store and your account is billed.
