16/03/2010 Informal talkings with colleagues of the BNE
25/03/2010 Personal visit to the BNE to check whether its system admits Arabic script. First provisional
cataloguing. Begin to talk about an agreement between both institutions.
21/05/2010 The agreement is aprouved by the Technical Director of the BNE. Some details of it are discused:
manual of procedure, inclusion of the logo, creation of a subcatalog, importance of the 040 field, etc.
07/09/2010 First imports from BNE of CA’s records > problems with the visualization. First contact with

23/12/2010 Sending to the BNE the Innovative’s answer about the character set of the BNE

31/03/2011 Sirsi Dynix technical engineers begin to solve the problem.
01/02/2011 Ask to Innovative about the specificatons of the BNE. Changes made from Sirsi Dynix
25/02/2011 Innovative’s answer. Changes made in the Z39.-50 server. The client must have the UTF8 scheme.
