1. Purchase a Renewal Packet
Gather the 5Required
Requirements
Renewing your CDA:
Document proof of 4.5 CEUS,
3 College credits, or 45 clock hours
in Early Childhood Development.
Proof of current First Aid and Infant/Child CPR certification.
Proof of individual membership to a National or
Local Early Childhood membership organization.
Letter on letterhead verifying at least 80 hours of
work experience with children in the past year.
Letter of Recommendation written by an Early
Childhood Reviewer.

• Apply on-line using YourCDA for expedited processing time.
• Purchase your packet early so that you have time to obtain/gather all required requirements.
• You can submit your completed renewal packet up to 6 months before the expiration date
on your credential.
• Print clearly and remember to include an email address to receive email reminders in the future.
• The Council must received your renewal information before the expiration date on your credential.
• Please be aware that all renewal certificates that have an issue date of July 1, 2013 and forward
are valid for three years, as of this date the Council no longer issues five year credentials.

2. Renovar su CDA:
Constancia de 4.5 unidades de

Certificado actualizado de primeros auxilios pediátricos y
resucitación cardiopulmonar.
Constancia de membresía individual en alguna organización

Carta de recomendación escrita por un revisor en cuidado y educación infantil.

Reúna los siguientes
5requisitos
• Inicie su solicitud en línea al utilizar SuCDA para agilizar el tiempo de procesamiento
• Compre su paquete con anticipación y así tenga suficiente tiempo para obtener/reunir la documentación requerida.
• Usted puede enviar su paquete de renovación completado hasta 6 meses antes de la fecha de expiración de
su credencial.
• Escriba con letra clara y recuerde incluir una dirección de correo electrónico para recibir recordatorios en el futuro.
• El Concilio debe recibir su información de renovación antes de la fecha de expiración de su credencial.
• Tenga en cuenta que todos los certificados de renovación con fecha de expedición del 1 de julio del 2013 y en
adelante, tienen una validez de 3 años, ya que a partir de esta fecha el Concilio ya no otorga más credenciales
por cinco años.
Envíe al Concilio la solicitud de renovación, los 5 documentos
requeridos para la renovación, y $100.00 de tarifa de renovación.
