Aquí vemos la estructura del sistema: 1º- Una Capa Privada en cada escuela con: Aula Virtual para que los profesores trabajen en las clases presenciales con las herramientas que ofrece e-ducativa OPEN & Herramientas Complementarias como WIKIPEDIA 2º- Una Capa Pública en cada escuela con: La administración del website, donde la escuela puede publicar información para estudiantes, profesores y padres, a través de una herramienta de edición muy sencilla. & Administración para el blog, en el que se publicarán opiniones, se crearán foros sobre temas propios de la escuela, promoviendo así la participación de cada parte de la comunidad educativa. Y finalmente una Capa Global con: Todas las escuelas que pertenecen al sistema, de manera que cada una de ellas puede ver (y acceder) a la información que ha publicado en la Capa Pública cualquiera de las otras escuelas. & Cada usuario puede acceder a la Capa Pública de cualquier escuela & Schools can share resources allowing the access to virtual classrooms and to the tools of the PRIVATE LAYER
The system not only provides one LMS specially adapted to standard / presential education, but also it gives an administration system for a website for each school, plus an administration system for blogs and tools such as news syndication and unified access to the whole system. All this constitutes a single integrated system for the creation and administration of a real virtual educational community. Every School has e-ducativa OPEN system that offers a series of private tools as: website, blog and virtual classroom... THE Three components in each school. These three main components are integrated in a top layer that relates to all the schools: the top layer integrates all the centers and also offers shared tools.
When we access to an e-ducativa OPEN integrated school we first see the website of the school, with own colors and logotypes. From this website we can also access: With E-ducativa Open each school can create its own website using editor “What you see is what you get”, so it is possible to create different websites for each school The Website has got custom-made Sections, Pages, Menus, Banners everything created by the teachers of the school. Besides this options, each school can choose its own corporative image and colors. All this options can be changes without a deep knowledge of programming or computer science... On this website it is possible to use the “syndication” system for news in order to show the upgrades of the contents in a browser with no need to get to the website Other tool that is included on the website is the access to any kind of “Wiki” site as Wikipedia or other tool as Google Of course the website offers links to access to other sites AND It is very important the SCHOOL MAP where we can find ALL the integrated schools with a link to see their websites. Other component of the system e-ducativa open is the blog of each school When we see the blog of a school we find different posts and the comments. There are many professors that use blogs related to their profession: we call them EDUBLOGS This kind of blogs give the educational community many add values: They are easy to use Teachers, students and parents can access the blog from any computer It is very important the motivation to the students and teachers: they write a post that can be read for anyone and Users usually create dialogs, debates an opinions.... Also we can syndicate comments and news in order to receive the notification of new participations in our browser. Some sections of the blog are: Calendar Categories for each post Statistics And latest comments And of course the blog uses the same corporative image of the school...
The LMS organize the didactic guide, lessons, resources for teachers and students This powerful system helps to organize different tasks for different profiles such as students, teachers or administrators and also to define levels of access, edition and use of the contents in the LMS In this LMS we find different communication such as: Calendar, email, forums, news, chat, Frequently asked questions All of this tools can be adapted depending the teachers criteria . Each tool is represented by a button on the left menu. It is important to say that this organization of the work support and add value to the standard education inside the classrooms.
These three parts of e-ducativa show similar administration options making easy the work of teachers.
e-ducativa Open also can be personalized and adapted to different needs and configurations: In our project in Andalusia coexist different types of computers configurations in the classrooms; even in the same school. Our experience in the first years of implementation showed us that is not necessary that all the classrooms have got the same quantity of computers, because we there are different needs. Besides this, the chance of creating different ways of work not only allows the system to be adjusted to the different needs of each subject , but also allows to optimize the use of the resources with a small investment In this project there are three ways to work: SIMULTANEOUS WORK: one computer each 2 students in all classrooms WORK GROUPS: one computer for a group of students WORK CORNER: only one or two computers in the classroom Veremos que es posible adoptar e-ducativa Open en proyectos en donde no haya tanta disponibilidad de equipamiento.
