Engineering students should be exposed to global social context so that they can gain an understanding of worldwide needs. (advance slide) Finally, continuing education ensures lifelong growth of personal skills and social understanding. Engineering educators must also participate in continuing education so that they are best prepared for the challenges ahead. EDUCON is an excellent example of this. EdSoc is a great place to work on this.
