obstáculo para Skype. Cuando yo estoy en alguna parte del mundo en mis viajes de
ISSN 1435-7003 negocios y quiero llamar uno de mis colegas locales usando mi teléfono móvil, pienso
que los proveedores de servicio de móviles están haciendo una tarea técnica enorme
para mi y por eso me cobran precios sumamente altos por una llamada telefónica
local. Estos proveedores de servicio de teléfonos móviles todavía están viviendo en
el siglo pasado. Todavía no tienen claro que no importa en que lufar del mundo me
encuentre. Los operadores telefónicos móviles han tomado nota: para Skype mi
situación es no importante, por defecto cada llamada telefónica a través de Skype es
una llamada local.
Y ése es el principio básico de un mundo global: las distancias no son ningún factor
importante y eso es exactamente la razón de que las transmisiones de señal óptica
estén por todas partes. ¡Las distancias no serán nunca más un problema y por eso la
fibra óptica es la tecnología de siglo 21!
Y ahora una pregunta de concurso: ¿qué otra tecnología que se conoce no está
limitada por las distancias? Sí, supongo que acertó, la tecnología del satélite no está
afectada por las distancias. Un satélite puede alcanzar casi la mitad de la superficie
del mundo y por lo que simplemente no importa donde se esté. Desgraciadamente los
diferentes proveedores de programación todavía se encuentran en el pasado, operan
con huellas de satélite estrechas y reducen por otra parte la ilimitada tecnología del
satélite a los límites terrestres de hace 200 años.
¿Pero se crean éstos los límites artificialmente?. Nosotros estamos en el siglo 21
dónde los satélites y la fibra óptica son las tecnologías de esta edad. Esencialmente
TELE-satélite se fundó en 1981 y dan el sin sentido de distancias . ¡La tecnología de la fibra óptica y del satélite son
hoy en día es a nivel mundial la unas tecnologías globales y de un mundo sin fronteras!.
