It’s + número de la hora + o’clock.
O’clock = en punto
What time is it?

It’s one o’clock.

4. 2. LA HORA FRACCIONADA.
2.1. LA HORA Y LOS MINUTOS.
It’s + número de la hora + guion (-) + numero de los
minutos.
What time is it?
1:10
It’s one - ten

5. 2.2. LOS MINUTOS DESPUÉS DE LA HORA
It’s + el número de los minutos + after + el número de
la hora.
After = después.
What time is it?
1:10
It’s ten after one.

6. 2.3. LOS MINUTOS PASADOS DE LA HORA
It’s + el número de los minutos + past + el número de
la hora.
Past = pasado.
What time is it?
1:10
It’s ten past one.

7. 3. LA HORA Y LOS 15 MINUTOS
It’s + el número de la hora + and a quarter.
Quarter (quarer)= cuarto = 15 minutos.
What time is it?
1:15
It’s one – fifteen
It’s one and a quarter
It’s a quarter after o past one

8. 4. LA HORA Y MEDIA
It’s + el numero de la hora + and a half
Half (jalf) = media = 30 minutos
What time is it?
1:30
It’s one – thirty.
It’s one and a half.
It’s a half past/after one.

9. 5. CUANDO FALTAN POCOS MINUTOS PARA LA
SIGUIENTE HORA.
It’s + el numero de los minutos que faltan para la
siguiente hora + to + la hora que va hacer
To (tu) = para

It’s a quarter to two.

10. 6. CASOS ESPECIALES
12:00 pm
It’s twelve o’clock in the morning
O podemos decir:
It’s noon
Noon (nuún) = medio día.

11. 12:00 am
It’s twelve o’clock in the night.
O podemos decir:
It`s midnight.
Midnight (midnait) = media noche.
