2. Restorative practices promote strengthened
relationships and community building while
providing meaningful and supported
opportunities for students to be held accountable
and take responsibility for making their school
community a safe and nurturing environment.

3. The fundamental premise of restorative practices
is that people are happier, more cooperative and
productive, and more likely to make positive
changes when those in authority do things with
them, rather than to them or for them.

11. Restorative Questions
When responding to conflict, a restorative
approach consists in asking the people involved
these key questions:

at the time of the incident?
2. What have you thought about since?
