La Estatua Del Jardin

8. The statue of the garden There was once a statue in a garden. There were lots of trees in the garden and one of them said to the statue - Hello, I´m a tree and I lived in the garden too! Some birds came to the garden and alighted in the statue´s hat. Trees didn´t like the birds alighted in the statue because the statue could become a person. Night came, and the statue began to move again because of the birds and this time birds were much larger. Then a tree told that if the birds flew away, the statue would return again to stone. But the birds didn´t do it and the statue became a person. The trees wanted the statue to stay of stone because it decorated the garden. The next day, the lady statue went for a walk down the street and people who looked at her were rather frightened. The night came again, thieves stole the lady ´s handbag. The police managed to remove it. The police searched for another statue that was a man, gave him the bag in order to it was returned to the lady, and he gave it to the lady statue. They fell in love and got married and the two statues were happy and ate partridges and, … they got a little son statue. THE END
