de la isla: Joan Bonet, y sus pupilos.
Regalando una clase magistral de
grabado sobre sus afilados cuchillos.
El ruido del metal nos transporta a 2046.
Ya hemos llegado al final de nuestro
viaje.
Atrás quedan ya las figuritas Tanit Made
in China, las lagartijas icono insular
hechas en Taiwan, las coronas de flores
que invaden mercadillos por doquier
con olor a pvc, los cistells con el símbolo
de la paz procedentes -que paradoja-
de Vietnam, los vestidos que intentan
retener la esencia hippie confeccionados
a costa de una niña india que nunca
podrá visitar paraíso alguno, ni fiesta
sostenida por el lema gastado Peace and
Love….
Nosotros que sabemos lo
que es vivir del eslogan
del amor, pero también
sabemos lo que viene
después una vez se gastó de
tanto usarlo:
“Siboneeeeey si no vienes
me moriré de amor.”
But there is still another place that
catches our attention before we leave.
The last ganiveter artisan-master knife-

in Taiwan, the wreaths that invade flea
markets everywhere with the smell of
PVC, the cystells with the symbol of
peace coming from - what a paradox -
from Vietnam, the dresses who try to
retain the hippie essence made at the
expense of an Indian girl who will never
be able to visit any paradise, or a party
supported by the slogan Peace and Love
....
We who know what it is to
live from the slogan of love,
but we also know what
comes next once it was
spent from so much use:
“Siboneeeeey if you do not
come I will die of love.”
