Unidad de Competencia:
Utilizar herramientas gramaticales para expresar habilidades, sugerencias y
deberes en situaciones laborales de manera oral como escrita, a través de un
tiempo verbal con sus respectivas reglas gramaticales.

Instrucciones
Estimado alumno, ya finalizada la semana 6, se solicita en esta instancia que
escriba la siguiente situación, para ello debe incorporar todo el conocimiento
entregado en la semana 1,2, 3, 4,5 y 6 principalmente estas últimas.

Contexto:
Estimado alumno usted se encuentra trabajando para la empresa Iplacex en el área
de Contabilidad donde usted se desempeña como Jefe del departamento contable.
Su superior le ha solicitado realizar una reunión donde tendrá que exponer el
balance del primer semestre del 2019 en comparación con el primer semestre del
2018. Para ello debe enviar un correo electrónico invitando al Gerente General, Su
jefe y al director de Marketing; les comentará de que trata la reunión, las
herramientas que utilizará (vocabulario de apoyo: diapositivas, folletos, gráficos, etc)
para mostrar su información. A la vez enviará un documento adjunto que será la
agenda con la invitación a dicha reunión. Cabe señalar que será una reunión con
desayuno para compartir luego terminada la reunión. Para todo lo anterior, debe
escribir un correo electrónico (introduction, opening, develop, closing and goodbye).

Case: Finance Meeting: Balance second semester 2020 comparing first
semester 2021
Dear Sirs.
You are invited to a meeting, where the balances of the first semester of2018 will be compared with
those of the second semester of 2019, through the examination of the General Balance and the
Statement ofFinancial, Economic and Social Situation. IPLACEX activity, for the period ofthe second
semester; as well as the verification that the administrative and economic-financial operations were
carried out in accordance with the applicable legal regulations and the procedures established in the
IPLACEX standard; Likewise, the Internal Accounting Control Systemwas evaluated. The presentation
of the Financial Statements and the information analyzed will be the responsibility ofthe accounting
department. The responsibility of the Comptroller of the company will consist of preparing a
comprehensive reportin which an opinion is expressed on the reasonableness ofsaid balances, the
effectiveness of the Improvement Plan and the degree of development of the Accounting Internal
Control System. The evaluation was carried out in accordance with the Auditing standards, policies
and procedures prescribed by the Comptroller General of IPLACEX.
Therefore, according to them, the planning and execution ofthe work was required, so that the review
of the balance sheetprovides a reasonable basis to supportthe opinion and concepts expressed in it.
The control included the examination based on selective tests of the evidence and documents that
supportthe figures and the informative notes that accompany the financial statements, as well as the
main estimates made by the administration and compliance with legal provisions.
