1. A veces puede usarse indistintamente
The water flows under the bridge. El agua fluye por debajo del puente

2. UNDER: Implica que tiene constante físico entre las dos
superficies
I put the ticket under the book.
The cat is under the bed.
Yo puse el ticket debajo del libro
El gato está debajo de la cama
3. BELOW: indica que existe cierto espacio entre ambos objetos o
referencias:
The plane flies below the clouds.
His performance is below expectation.
El avión vuela por debajo de las nubes
Su rendimiento está por debajo de lo esperado

8. 4. “BELOW" y “UNDER" también significan "inferior en el rango", pero "under"
implica que se trata del inmediato inferior, mientras que "below" da a entender
que la separación es mayor:
In the army, the lieutenant is under the
captain.
En el ejército, el teniente está justamente por
debajo del capitán
