This is a presentation for journalists and anybody interested in why and how stories can have impact. This is all about on how to find the best form for a strong story.
This is not easy. There are so many options and new tools. The key message of this presentation is that the focus should be on creating the story.
Which calls for an understanding why some stories are strong and lasting, while many are not. Additionally one must understand how the creation process works, which is best done by example and practice (of course).
The original presentation was held as the TASC Storycamp for the finalists of the African Story Challgenge, in Marrakesh, on August 11, 2014.

• La tasa de crecimiento se basa en la moneda local de cada
mercado.
• La tasa de crecimiento global refleja cifras actualizadas de 2014
para EE. UU. y un estimado de ventas Fairtrade en Brasil, Corea del
Sur, Eslovaquia, Hong Kong, India, Kenia, República Checa y
‘Resto del mundo’.
• Estas cifras abarcan las ventas de productos para consumidores en
tiendas y supermercados (‘ventas al por menor’) y ventas de
productos para consumo en cafés, restaurantes, etc. (‘ventas de
productos fuera de casa’ o ‘ventas out of home’). Existen dos
métodos diferentes para calcular los valores de ventas minoristas
‘fuera de casa’:
1. Usar el precio promedio de ‘ventas de productos fuera de
casa’, por ejemplo, el precio promedio de una taza de café en
un café o restaurante (se usa en Alemania, Estonia, Finlandia,
Irlanda, Japón, Letonia, Lituania, España y Portugal).
2. Usar el precio promedio de ventas al por menor de productos
para consumidores en tiendas y supermercados (se usa en los
demás países).
Dado que los precios de ‘ventas de productos fuera de casa’ son
frecuentemente mayores que los precios de ventas al por menor,
los países que usan el primer método pueden tener valores de
ventas relativamente más altos.
