6. La Técnica Pomodoro es un método para mejorar la administración del tiempo
desarrollado por Francesco Cirillo a fines de los años 1980. La técnica usa un reloj
para dividir el tiempo dedicado a un trabajo en intervalos de 25 minutos -
llamados 'pomodoros'- separados por pausas.
Necesitarás:

10. Diferencia entre urgente e importante
Las tareas urgentes son aquellas que
exigen una atención inmediata y son las
que ponen a prueba la capacidad de
respuesta momentánea.
Las tareas importantes son las que nos llevan
a cumplir el objetivo final de la empresa.
Pueden ser a corto o largo plazo y ponen a
prueba la capacidad de respuesta futura
frente a los obstáculos que se van

• Espacio donde escribir
• Recomendable hacer este ejercicio con un equipo de personas con actividades
similares a la tuya

11. Tarea urgente
La urgencia es una cualidad asociada al tiempo. Aumenta tanto a medida que te queda menos tiempo para la
fecha límite, como en función del volumen de la tarea.
• Entre dos tareas que requieran el mismo tiempo de realización, la más urgente es la que tenga la fecha
límite antes.
• Entre dos tareas que tengan la misma fecha límite, la más urgente es la que lleve más tiempo hacer.
• Si se aplaza la fecha límite de una tarea, esta se vuelve menos urgente.
• Si descubres que una tarea será más larga de lo que pensabas, se volverá más urgente.
• Una tarea que no tiene fecha límite no será nunca urgente.
Como ves el lenguaje no ayuda. Cuando decimos que una tarea es urgente, lo que queremos decir es que es
“muy urgente”, mientras que cuando decimos que una tarea no es urgente, en realidad deberíamos decir que
es “poco urgente”.
Desde el momento en que tiene fecha límite, una tarea es como mínimo un poquito urgente.
12. Tarea importante
La importancia es una cualidad asociada a las consecuencias. Una tarea aumenta su importancia si las
consecuencias de fracasar en ella también aumentan. En otras palabras, una tarea es importante solo si
las consecuencias que sufriremos al no hacerla son graves.
• Dos tareas con consecuencias similares, independientemente del volumen de trabajo o dificultad,
son igualmente importantes. (Ej: tan importante es escribir un informe como llevarlo a la persona
indicada)
• Entre dos tareas, aunque no se parezcan en nada, la más importante será siempre la que cause
efectos más graves en caso de no completarla.
• Aunque la tarea no cambie, las consecuencias pueden cambiar. Si lo hacen, la importancia de la
tarea cambia también (aumenta o se reduce).

CÓMO CREAR HÁBITOS Y APROVECHAR EL
TIEMPO CON LA TÉCNICA SEINFIELD
La idea es extremadamente sencilla, pero funciona muy bien. Consiste en ir tachando los
días en un calendario conforme cumplimos con el compromiso de hacer las cosas que
queremos convertir en hábito –por ejemplo, tomar dos litros de agua al día. La cadena de
equis que se va formando tiene un gran poder psicológico, que nos empuja a seguir
adelante y no romperla. Si conseguimos una cadena de 30 equis –un mes–, se puede decir
que hemos consolidado el hábito.
También llamado “método de la cadena”, este método se le atribuye al comediante
norteamericano Jerry Seinfeld.
