Presentation: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) economies and the Mediterranean, Strategic Partners
The Mediterranean Logistics and Transport Summit is organized in the framework of SIL2015 by the Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASCAME), the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona with the collaboration of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
The Mediterranean Logistics & Transport Forum will focus on issues related to the integration of a single united Mediterranean market; the challenges, opportunities and perspectives for the transport and logistics sector, as well as the Mediterranean railway; the different international projects for the development of the Mediterranean; the Gulf and the Mediterranean and Strategic Partners and the Meda-Logistics & Transport Roadshow.

Ambas Regiones comparten una envidiable localización geográfica
para desarrollos logísticos
Crecimiento de las exportaciones impulsadas por la fuerte inversión
en infaestructuras. Algunas de ellas lideradas por contratistas
españoles
Aprovechamiento de centros de reexportación como Dubai. Donde el
60% de sus importaciones son reexportadas
Oportunidades en segmentos nicho solamente. Alta calidad, valor
añadido y fuerte especialización: desarrollos sofisticados de gestión
de cadena de suministro (almacenaje, transportes especiales,
aprovisionamiento materia prima)
A tener en cuenta aspectos culturales tales como la importancia de
las relaciones personales (apoyo en socio local bien posicionado), se
ha de tener mentalidad medio-largo plazo con fuerte compromiso y
atención constante y, por último aportar experiencia en CCG o MENA
como demostración de adaptabilidad a trabajar con cliente árabe
