Pese a sus diferencias con otros lugares de
Valonia, la provincia y la ciudad de namur sinte-
tizan las esencias de la región francófona por su
diversidad paisajística y riqueza cultural, visibles
en sus espacios abiertos y poblacionales. Para
hacerse idea de ello, es recomendable un viaje
fluvial en los barcos –o namourettes–, que reco-
rren el valle del mosa y seguir, después, el paso
del río por la capital valona. también es intere-
sante un paseo paralelo al mosa y sus numerosos
afluentes, que los belgas hacen en bicicleta entre
pinares y hayedos, praderas en las que sestean
