INTRODUCTION
7SIS arquitectura es una empresa consultora de servicios técnicos de arquitectura, ubicada en Barcelona,
aunque su ámbito de actuación de ha visto expandido
en los últimos años a ámbitos nacionales y europeos.
7SIS arquitectura is a consulting firm for technical
architectural services, located in Barcelona, although
its field of action has expanded both nationwide and in
Europe in recent years.
Desde su constitución en 2006, ha ido evolucionando
desde un tratamiento generalista de la arquitectura a
una especialización en el área de la arquitectura ferroviaria.

Since its establishment in 2006, the firm has evolved from
a general treatment of architecture to a specialization in
the area of railway architecture.
Como dato indicativo cabe destacar que durante éstos
7 años, entre otros trabajos, 7SIS ha llevado a cabo 11
direcciones de obra de estaciones, 7 proyectos de estaciones ferroviarias y un proyecto de estación de autobuses.

As indicative data, during the past seven years, 7SIS has
carried out the construction management of 11 railway
stations, the drafting of 7 railway station projects and 1
bus station project.
Simultáneamente a esta especialización, la empresa ha
tenido una evolución en el tratamiento de sus procedimientos internos, desarrollando diversos aspectos.
Reliability. Under this concept our designs are targeted
so that the construction performs the functions which
it was designed for in those conditions that were
requested.
La Mantenibilidad entendiendo como tal la capacidad
para que la construcción pueda ser mantenida o restaurada al estado en el que pueda realizar la función
requerida, usando procedimientos y recursos establecidos. Esto se traduce en la utilización de elementos de
tipo industrial siempre que sea posible, adaptando los
materiales empleados a la utilización local.
Maintainability. Understood as the ability for the
construction to be maintained or restored to the state
in which it can perform the required function by using
the established/prescribed procedures and resources.
This results in using, whenever possible, industrial type
elements, adapting those materials employed to those
of local use.
La Seguridad cuya misión es evitar, o en el peor de los
casos reducir, las posibilidades de que las personas puedan ser afectadas por un accidente en fase de explotación.
Safety. With the mission of preventing, or at worst,
reducing the chances of people being affected by an
accident in the operation phase.
Estos dos últimos aspectos se asocian a la fase de explotación, pero consideramos que deben integrarse en
la de diseño.
These last two aspects are associated with the
exploitation phase, however, we believe it should be
integrated into the design.
La mayor parte de la actividad se desarrolla en
parámetros de gestión y dirección de proyectos. 7SIS
aplica en dicha actividad los estándares definidos en:

descanso de conductores / Vestíbulo con zona comercial y restauración / Espacio de oficinas de gestión y compañías / Reordenación de
Avenida del Segre, con nuevas paradas de autobús urbano, taxis y vehículos privados / Previsión de construcción de edificio de 6 plantas
sobre estructura estación DESCRIPCIÓN El solar tiene acceso desde dos calles, a niveles distintos, y está limitado por dos viaductos: de
vehículos y de ferrocarril. La adecuación del edificio al entorno se logra al proyectar respondiendo y dialogando con esta característica,
usándola a su favor. La sobriedad de la volumetría, de la composición de fachada y de la elección de materiales configuran el carácter del
edificio. Se proyecta con sistemas constructivos de mínimo nivel de mantenimiento. Se proyecta el nivel inferior con ventilación natural,
para evitar costes de instalación y mantenimiento, y se proyecta nivel vestíbulo con fachada ventilada y elementos de protección solar en
ventanales, para maximizar los aspectos de ahorro energético.
PROJECT SCOPE New building design. Overall built surface of 7548m2 / One central island providing 18 stands for buses to park in linear
format / Bus parking area for 9 buses / Driver’s rest area / Ticket hall with adjacent retail and restoration areas / travel information centre ,
control room and office accommodation for bus operators / Reurbanization of Avinguda del Segre, with new urban bus stops, taxi stops and
Kiss&ride area. / Building structure designed to support a future 6 storey building. DESCRIPTION The site has entrance from two different
streets, in different levels, and it borders with a rail viaduct and a road viaduct. The building design uses the characteristics of the site, in
order to achieve functional objectives and urban integration. The design is sober in several aspects: volume, appearance and materials. Low
maintenance cost and vandal-proof materials are part of the design criteria. Lower level is designed with natural ventilation, in order to avoid
ventilation system’s expenses, and upper level is designed with ventilated façade and passive solar protection solutions, in order to maximize
efficient energy use.

del emplazamiento donde se sitúa el edificio de viajeros obliga a realizar una adecuación del edificio a su entorno de manera que permita
salvar la diferencia de cota entre las vías del tren y la vía pública desde donde se accede y optimizando un ancho muy limitado del solar.
Para favorecer un ahorro en el mantenimiento, se utilizan materiales resistentes y con un óptimo envejecimiento, alargando su vida útil.

manifold’s diversion DESCRIPTION The building to be built had a peculiarity: it had to connect the street level and the platform level in a
extremely narrow site. The materials used in the building assure a reduced maintenance cost and guarantee a long lifespan.

9. ALCANCE Diseño, Redacción de Proyecto Básico y Ejecutivo y Dirección de Obra del nuevo gabinete de circulación en andén central de la
Estación de Lleida-Pirineus DESCRIPCIÓN El principal objetivo del proyecto ha sido lograr la adecuación del edificio al entorno, puesto que
se trataba de construir un nuevo volumen en una estación de reciente construcción, y de arquitectura singular. La compleja construcción
en un andén central, manteniendo la explotación de la estación sin afectar a la circulación era uno de los mayores condicionantes a la
hora de plantear el diseño. Se proyectó como una obra “seca”, con estructura metálica, fachada tipo muro cortina y tabiquería de placas
de cartón yeso. La estrategia de diseño fue el tratar de camuflar el edificio, mediante el uso de material reflectante de tonos similares al
entorno
PROJECT SCOPE Design and Construction Management of new Traffic Management Center DESCRIPTION The project’s main target was to
integrate the architectural design of the new building within the existing station, recently built. The construction process couldn’t affect the
station activity nor the train circulation. Therefore, the design was based in using prefabricated small size construction solutions, in order to
ease acces to platform. The design strategy was to camouflage the building by using reflective materials.

11. ALCANCE Rehabilitación de la cubierta sobre andenes / Diseño de cubierta de policarbonato / Diseño de pasarelas de mantenimiento /
Rehabilitación de marquesina de calle / Rehabilitación de fachadas a zona de andenes DESCRIPCIÓN Los trabajos contratados consistieron
en proyectar y redactar el proyecto de rehabilitación de la cubierta del espacio de andenes de la estación de Francia. Al tratarse de un
edificio catalogado y de relevante importancia histórica, se realizaron previamente trabajos de documentación y análisis, para ajustar las
soluciones propuestas a un criterio de intervención respetuoso con el patrimonio. La finalidad de las soluciones proyectadas era, aparte
de devolver a la cubierta su apariencia original tras la rehabilitación de 1992, resolver las soluciones constructivas degradadas mediante
sistemas más modernos que garanticen un mejor comportamiento y durabilidad.

of street canopy / Restoration of façades over platform space DESCRIPTION The work consisted on designing and drafting the platform’s roof
restoration. Being a listed and historical building, an important analysis and documentation work was carried out, in order to design heritage
respectful solutions.

edificio de la estación de Sant Andreu de Llavaneres se compone de diversos volúmenes. Cada uno de ellos alberga un uso distinto de la
estación. La piedra caliza de tonos ocres de fachada, el hormigón visto y el U-glass verdeazulado integran al edificio en el entorno natural,
frente a la playa de Sant Andreu. La estación fue presentada por ADIF a los Premios Brunel 2011.

15. ALCANCE Medición y valoración de 15 proyectos y 2 anteproyectos, con precios de mercado / Desarrollo de soluciones constructivas /
Elaboración de nuevas propuestas / Valoración de propuestas con precios de mercado DESCRIPCIÓN Con el objeto de acceder a la licitación
de la construcción y explotación de 17 estaciones de la Línea 9 de metro de Barcelona, la UTE formada por Dragados, Comsa y Acsa encargó
a 7SIS un estudio constructivo y económico de los proyectos. Por otro lado, dos de los proyectos no tenían definición arquitectónica, por
lo que dicha definición formó parte de nuestro alcance.
PROJECT SCOPE Architectural solutions review / Optimize constructive solutions / Quantity review / New budget estimating / Developing
bidding documentation DESCRIPTION In order to bid for the construction and exploitation of 17 L9 Metro stations, 7SIS was commissioned (by
UTE Dragados, Comsa, Acsa) an architectural and construction review. The scope of the contract also included the design proposal and cost
estimating of two new underground stations.

de proyectar terminales de transporte es el acierto en sus dimensiones, en su escala. La estación de Montcada i Reixac Sta. María resuelve
dicho reto mediante la proporción entre el edificio estación y las marquesinas que protegen y señalan los accesos al nuevo paso inferior,
una única infraestructura con uso diferenciado ciudad - estación.

DESCRIPTION One of the biggest challenges when designing Transport Terminals is finding the right scale. In this newly designed station, the
canopies and their connection to the new building solve this challenge.

DESCRIPCIÓN La remodelación de la estación de Castelldefels Centro supuso nuestra iniciación en los trabajos en estaciones de Cercanías.
El paso inferior se ejecutó durante un corte de circulación de 50 horas. Toda la obra se realizó manteniendo la estación en servicio. La
remodelación interior del vestíbulo incrementó el número de validadoras.

Estación de Sants DESCRIPCIÓN La adecuación de andenes de la estación de Sants se llevó a cabo manteniendo en servicio la estación, y
llevando a cabo complejas actuaciones en la estructura de la losa sobre la que se asienta la propia estación y las Plazas dels Països Catalans
y Joan Peiró. Dentro del marco de las obras de adecuación del vestíbulo de la Estación de Sants para la llegada de la Alta Velocidad fue
preciso proyectar y construir una Sala de Autoridades.
PROJECT SCOPE Technical assistance to Construction Manager of Barcelon Sants Station renewal / Design and construction management of
new VIP waiting room DESCRIPTION This is one of the most complex rail construction projects ever done in Spain. Coordinating with all the
different teams of professionals involved in order to keep on schedule was a major effort. Moreover, the construction process did not affect
the train service nor the station’s daily operation. During the construction process of the Barcelona Sants High Speed Hall, the client realized
that a VIP waiting room was needed. The station got the Construmat Award.
