una pregunta, una oración negativa, un

Simple Present/Past:
The house is/was built.
El verbo ser también puede ser un verbo completo. En este caso, no va seguido de
otro verbo. Si be se usa como un verbo completo, no necesitamos un auxiliar en
oraciones negativas o interrogativas.
Positive sentence:
They are fifteen years old.
Negative sentence:
They are not fifteen years old.
Question:
Are they fifteen years old?
5. El verbo have también se puede usar como auxiliar y como verbo completo. Como auxiliar usamos
este verbo para formar tiempos compuestos en voz activa y pasiva. (Use el participio pasado del
verbo completo).
Compound Tenses - Active Voice
Present Perfect Simple:
They have played football.
He has been playing football.
Simple Present:
I/we/you/they have, he/she/it has
Como verbo completo have indica posesión. En inglés británico, sin embargo, usualmente usamos
have got (have siendo el auxiliar, got el verbo completo).
full verb:
I have a car.
auxiliary verb:
I have got a car.
6. El verbo do puede ser tanto un verbo auxiliar como un verbo completo. Como
auxiliar usamos do en oraciones negativas y preguntas para la mayoría de los
verbos.
Simple Present:
He does not play football.
They do not play football.
