2. Martinus
• Nacido en 316/317 en Steinamaga
(Hungría)
• Hijo de un oficial romano
• Por orden del emperador Constantino I,
Martinus tiene que hacer el servicio militar a
la edad de 15 años y se convierte en soldado

3. Carácter
• modesto
• generoso
• poco gastador
• ayuda a los pobres, a los
que tienen hambre y a los
enfermos

4. Características especiales
• tiene un caballo blanco
• lleva una capa roja y
una espada

5. La buena acción de San Martín
• Martín estaba estacionado en Amiens
(Francia).
• Era un invierno muy frío.
• En los suburbios encontró a un mendigo.
• El mendigo tenía muchísimo frío. Estaba
vestido sólo con harapos.

6. • Martín quiere
ayudarlo.
• Martín toma su capa
roja y la divide con su
espada en dos partes.
• Guarda una parte y
regala la otra parte al
mendigo.

7. La historia de Martín después de
su buena acción
• Martín se retira del
servicio militar.
• Se convierte en fraile y
ayuda a todas las
personas.

8. • El antiguo obispo de Tours ha muerto.
Ahora debe ser Martín el nuevo obispo
de Tours.
• Pero Martín no quiere.
Ni quiere vivir en un
palacio, ni quiere
llevar vestidos nobles,
ni anillos, ni collares.

9. • Por la tarde se escapa Martín y se esconde
en un establo de gansos.
• Toda la gente busca
a Martín con farolitos.

10. • Los gansos graznan tan fuerte
que la gente encuentra a
Martín.
• Martín es el nuevo obispo.
