Notice that the endings are added to the infinitive SER!

– Tomorrow will be my birthday.

– We will be strong at the end of the year.

This PAST tense form is used for specific events in the past.

– For one year, I was president.
Note: these have a definite period of time.

– They used to be best friends.
Note: these describe how things used to be
or give a time in the past.
