UV verbs All of these verbs change to UV in preterite.

 The teacher had four classes last year.
 ¿Estuviste en clase ayer?
 Were you in class yesterday?
 Nosotros anduvimos en el parque anoche.
 We walked in the park last night.
 Note: these have a defined period of time.
 el año pasado, ayer, anoche are all words that indicate specific
times in the past.
