18. SHOPPING DAY!
 Invite clientes (classmates) to your store, ask how you
can help them, describe your products, negotiate a sale
and close the sale with payment in the foreign
currency (include giving change or using the credit
card.) Students will bring products to the classroom
to use as props. One student from each business will
be the shopkeeper and the other the shopper with

 1. Each day show representative slides of one of the artists.
Day 1: El Greco Day 2: Velázquez etc.
 Students fill in a chart of the following:
 El nombre El tema las características el período
 After all of the slides have been viewed. Students are given
four postcards of famous paintings. One painting of each
artist. Students analyze the paintings and state the
characteristics, theme, and period. Based on the
characteristics, theme, period, the group determines the
artist.

67. Mess-free, stress-free piñatas!
1. Flatten one of the cereal boxes.
2. Form a cylinder with the other box.
3. Trace around the cylinder BUT make the circle about 1
inch bigger than the cylinder.
4. Cut out both circles. Make 6-8 slits around the outside
of the circles.
5. Fold the slits. Put the circles in each end of the cylinder
cereal box. Staple (leave one end slightly open to add
candy) and then decorate.
