2. En esta ocasión la tarea que se nos pide es la siguiente:
Buscar información sobre:
“Exploración, diagnóstico y terapia manipulativa en la articulación del tobillo”
Buscar la información en la base de datos CINAHL tanto en la búsqueda libre como en los
descriptores.
Limitar la búsqueda a publicaciones arbitradas publicadas a partir de 2010.
De la búsqueda por descriptores, exportar dichas referencias a Mendeley y realiza la
bibliografía en formato Vancouver.
Crear una alerta semanal para ir recibiendo las novedades sobre el tema.
Publicar el resultado y todo el proceso de realización de la tarea en tu blog.
3. Cómo podéis comprobar, en esta tarea vamos a aprender a utilizar la base de datos CINAHL.
Para ello estableceremos una estrategia de búsqueda, la cual emplearemos para buscar los
artículos de las dos formas posibles en este base de datos:
- Búsqueda libre.
- Búsqueda por descriptores.
A continuación, acotaremos nuestra búsqueda haciendo uso de los filtros dispones en la base
de datos, en concreto emplearemos el de publicaciones arbitradas publicadas a partir de 2010.
Además, los artículos que encontremos de la búsqueda por descriptores serán exportados a
Mendeley y crearemos la bibliografía de los mismos en formato Vancouver.
Aprenderemos también a crear una alerta semanal para que semanalmente se nos notifique
en nuestro correo electrónico nuevas publicaciones sobre nuestro tema de interés, para poder
realizar este paso debemos estar previamente registrados en la base de datos.
Finamente, publicaremos todo el proceso en nuestro blog a través de una presentación Powert
Point, para ello utilizaremos una vez más el programa Slideshare.
4. 1. Búsqueda Libre.
En primer lugar debemos construir nuestra estrategia de búsqueda.
“Exploración, diagnóstico y terapia manipulativa en la articulación del tobillo”
Los términos claves son: Exploración, Diagnóstico, Terapia Manipulativa, Articulación del
tobillo.
Ingresamos en el DeCS, para encontramos los descriptores de nuestros términos en inglés, ya
que deben aparecer en este idioma. De tal forma que la estrategia de búsqueda queda
configurada de la siguiente manera:
(“physical examination” OR diagnosis OR “musculoskeletal manipulations”) AND ankle joint
Una vez establecida nuestra estrategia de búsqueda, ingresamos en la base de datos CINAHL
desde la pagina web de bibliotecas de la Salud, Universidad de Sevilla.
5. Insertamos en el buscador de la base de datos nuestra estrategia de búsqueda.
6. Aplicamos el filtro publicaciones arbitrarias, que es lo mismo que publicaciones académicas, y
el filtro de fecha de publicación 2010-2017.
7. Tras la aplicación de los filtros, conseguimos acatar nuestra búsqueda a los criterios.
requeridos en la tarea. En numero de publicaciones encontradas se reduce.
8. 2. Búsqueda por Descriptores.
En esta ocasión debemos acceder a la pestaña de descriptores CINAHL que encontramos en la
parte superior de la base de datos.
Una que hemos accedido, buscamos los términos claves en inglés. En primer lugar buscaremos
aquellos unidos con el operador OR.

10. Repetimos la misma operación con el término ankle joint.
Click en Base de datos de
investigación.
A continuación, debemos hacer click en “Historial de búsqueda” para poder enlazar los términos
encontrados en la búsqueda por descriptores y lanzar nuestra estrategia de búsqueda completa.
11. Seleccionamos las dos pestañas de “Números de ID de nuestra búsqueda” y hacemos click en
“Buscar con AND”.
13. 3. Exportación de artículos a Mendeley y creación de referencias bibliográficas.
Hacemos click en
Compartir y luego
en Resultados.
14. Seguidamente se nos creará una carpeta con todos los resultados encontrados. Accedemos
a dicha carpeta y seleccionamos la opción de Exportar.
15. Se nos abre una nueva pestaña en la cual deberemos seleccionar “Exportación directa en
formato RIS” para que nos descargue un documento que luego deberemos abrir en
Mendeley, esto ocurre si el navegador usado es Chrome.
16. Abrimos la aplicación de Mendeley para escritorio, introduciendo nuestro usuario y
contraseña y seguimos los siguientes pasos para abrir la carpeta descargada
anteriormente: “File, import, RIS y buscamos el archivos, clik y se añade”.
17. En la bibliografía Mendeley, si el artículo es de Cinahl, la bibliografía se crea con la city. Tenemos que
quitarlo, para ello desde Mendeley seguimos los siguientes pasos: Tools, opciones, document details,
journal article, city, ok. Y eliminamos el apartado de City de cada Artículo.
18. Cumpliendo con lo que se nos pide en la tarea, elegimos la opción de crear la bibliografía en
formato Vancouver para ello debemos desde Mendeley hacer click en: View, citatios style,
Vancouver.
19. Seguidamente, hacemos click con el botón derecho y seleccionamos Copy As – Fomatted
Citation, para copiar la bibliografía en el documento.
