6. This story was partially inspired by the most subtle sunset in the face of earth in an ethereal village that turns red every day at 5: 40 PM. Only in Macará-Ecuador I was not frightened by the bats, or spiders. The hypnotic crimson color shadowed all my fears and pains. When I saw it, I discovered that although the sun visit us all without distinction, it must have preferences for certain persons and places. The unique color that the sun wears when setting down in Macará leaves no doubt about it. And here is my version of the scientific birth of the sun.With love, the author. Este cuento fue parcialmente inspirado por la mas delicada caída del sol en la faz de la tierra en un etéreo pueblo que se vuelve rojo todos los días a las 5 y 40 PM. Solamente en Macará-Ecuador no me asustaban los murciélagos, ni las arañas. Ese afanoso color rojo me hipnotizaba lo suficiente como para ignorar cualquier susto y cualquier pena. Cuando lo vi por primera vez, descubri que a pesar que el sol nos visita a todos sin distinción, sí que tiene preferencias por ciertas personas y lugares. El color con que se viste cuando se esconde en Macará no deja la menor duda. Y aquí esta mi versión de la historia científica sobre el nacimiento del sol. Con amor, la autora.

7. 4.5 billion years ago when a huge cloud of dust was the only inhabitant of the universe she started feeling sad, the sadder she felt, the darker she turned. The darker she turned the more she shrunk. The more she shrunk, the more she could hear herself crying. Until, one day she got tired of her own sorrow!. 4.500 millones de años atrás, cuando una enorme nube de polvo era la única habitante del universo, ella empezó a sentirse triste. Mientras más triste se sentía, más sombría se volvió. Cuanto más sombría, más se comprimía. Cuanto más pequeñita, más fuerte podía escucharse a si misma llorando. Hasta que un día se cansó de su propio llanto!. 1 One/Uno

8. No mas! se dijo a si misma. No quiero estar sola! Gritó. Y su grito generó tanto estruendo que tomó forma de minúsculas partículas que volaron por todas partes. Y como estas partículas emergieron de un grito desesperado, nacieron aborreciendo a la soledad. Así que empujadas por el miedo corrían chocandose entre si como aspirando disipar su terror en un abrazo. No more! she told to herself. I do not want to be alone! She screamed. And her weep was so strident that it burst into tiny particles that flew everywhere. And as these baby particles emerged from a cry of despair, they were born intolerant to solitude. This fear drove them to run into each other hoping to forget that fear thru a warm hug. 2 Two/Dos

9. And from so many affectionate hugs and so much love amongst the baby particles, they all began to glow like fireflies. The mother cloud was no longer to be alone; because from the love that she first kept in the form of sorrow, she created a zillion baby girls that enlightened her forever. La madre nube no estaría ya mas sola pues con el amor que guardaba dentro de su tristeza, hizo nacer un millón de hijas que iluminaron su corazón para siempre. 3 Three/Tres

10. And the sisters and the mother loved each other so much that they formed the sun from a melting hug. They were no longer a lonely gassy cloud, one mother, some particles, or some firefly looking daughters. Suddenly the all became one. And they decided to call themselves NOVA by unanimous decision. Y las hermanas y la madre se amaron tanto que de un solo abrazo formaron el sol. La madre y las hijas no eran ya ni nube, ni gas, ni partículas, ni luciérnagas, de pronto todas ellas se volvieron una. Y por decisión unánime decidieron llamarse NOVA. 4 Four/Cuatro

The sun has been a God to many civilizations: It was called Ra in Egypt, Helios is Greece, Marduk by the Babylonians, Utu by the Sumerians, Inti by the Incas, Xiuhpiltontli by the Aztecs. Even today, many refer to the sun as light, and to light as a source of inspiration, faith, happiness, wisdom, justice and more. For instance, the author of this book likes to call it NOVA, which means “new”.UNTIL NEXT TIME... REVELACION: A NOVA se le ha conocido con muchos otros nombres desde la antigüedad.
