Un grupo de estudiantes avanzados de universidades estadounidenses colabora con el comedor y guardería infantil de Margarita Barrientos como parte de Iniciativa BASIC y con el apoyo de IADS Instituto Argentino de Desarrollo Sustentable, la Universidad de Palermo y la Embajada de Estados Unidos en la Argentina . Este es el segundo año de trabajo y se continuará con el diseño de un Master Plan, y en el diseño y construcción de la nueva guardería infantil.

3 LOW ALTITUDE AERIAL MAPPING
To obtain an up-to-date overview of the physical morphology of
the community, a series of low altitude aerial maps were generated over
the course of two weeks. A team of three students employed several
low-cost photographic methods which also succeeded in spontaneously
engaging children. These aerials were used as a primary reference for initial
propositions and will continue to be used in the coming months to give
quantitative specificity to proposals.
