2. Dividir la clase en bloques y
añadir descansos
Si la clase es corta, podemos hacer
descansos de 2 o 3 minutos
Si tenemos una clase en la cual debemos dar una larga
explicación y los alumnos han de estar mucho rato sentados,
será interesante dividir la clase en bloques y hacer pequeños
descansos entre medias en los cuales los alumnos se levanten e
incorporen movimiento

3. Utilizar la técnica pomodoro

Ya sea en una clase tipo magistral o una en la cual los alumnos tengan que
trabajar individualmente o en equipo, podemos utilizar esta técnica para
incorporar los descansos

Se trata de crear bloques de 25 minutos de trabajo y 5 de descanso. Dichos
bloques debemos adaptarlos a la duración total de la clase y los descansos
entre clases

Por otra parte, es importante comunicar a los alumnos que haya, por ejemplo,
un reloj en un sitio visible o poniendo una aplicación que cuente el tiempo en
la pizarra digital para que los alumnos puedan ver cuánto tiempo falta y
puedan organizarse en base a ello

4. Taller de movimiento
Para que los alumnos sepan qué estiramientos y movimientos
incorporar en estos descansos será interesante ofrecer un taller
de movimiento en el cual los alumnos aprendan estiramientos de
yoga, gimnasia u otras disciplinas que puedan incorporar
Es importante que sean movimientos que, por un lado,
contribuyan a la distensión pero que, por otro lado, no
tiendan a la dispersión de la atención

5. Cooperación entre el profesorado
Aunque parezca evidente, es
importante que el profesorado se
coordine para programar sus clases de
manera que se promueva la diversidad
de actividades y el alumnado no esté
obligado a estar sentado durante
muchas horas seguidas

6. Incorporar movimiento en actividades

Es interesante que, en la medida de lo
posible y siempre acorde a la materia,
se incorporen en las actividades de
clase actividades que propicien que el
movimiento más allá de los
estiramientos de los descansos

Por ejemplo, exponer un tema obliga a
los alumnos a levantarse y moverse,
hacer role playing, actividades
teatrales o concursos de todo tipo en
los que los alumnos tengan que
levantarse de la silla con el objetivo de
que aprendan en movimiento
