- This is now the high-level architecture, the digital business platform itself! The core capabilities are in the middle. I’ll come to those in a second. Then you see what is more about this platform – a common user interface for all the capabilities. Life cycle management for plan, build, test, run environment, administration capabilities for deployment, provisioning and monitoring and content – we also deliver content, process models, industry best practice, architectures for industries, reference models from different industries, metrics. So we provide content and this is offered by the market place that you see on the left side. So combining technology, methodology and content all accessible via market place is also a key of this new business digital platform. On the right hand side you can see the integration piece to big data, adobe, new Sequel, internet of things via MQTT that’s the new protocol and of course B2B integration. This is the big picture. Now lets focus on the middle, on the core capabilities of this platform.
- Here we can see the core capabilities. It’s business and IT transformation. I mentioned this at the beginning. It’s not only developing applications its about how to introduce this into your business and the changing of IT processes and landscapes. In-memory data logic- I mentioned this before – all data is stored in-memory Adaptive applications – I mentioned this before Integration part – these applications have to be integrated with external applications, cloud applications, internal applications. The intelligent business operations part is all about big data streaming analytics. These are the five core things besides the additional things I showed you before. So why do we need these extra parts? I’ll tell you… In business and IT transformation – we have the enterprise models/IT inventory. In-memory – here we build the data logic, the integration logic is included under integration and the process/program logic under adaptive applications and IBO means managing decision logic. This is what an application is - its about data logic, integration logic, process logic and decision logic - this is what an application needs and this all comes with the platform. The products are ARIS and ALFABET for Business and IT transformation. TERRACOTTA for managing data logic, WEBMETHODS Integration and API for the integration logic. WEBMETHODS BPM and AgileApps for managing the adaptive applications and WEBMETHODS Operational Intelligence and APAMA for managing the decision logic. This is the complete overview of our offering. Of course these all come out of the cloud, as a public cloud service. This is the core of our digital business platform – not forgetting the others we mentioned with Integration, Content, Methodology and Market Place. You can start with one or two of these components but in the end its about taking the whole platform for your transformation into a digital business.
