Cinco bulbos de narciso viajaron lejos de su hogar en Gales. El bulbo número cinco llegó a una escuela en España donde los niños decidieron cuidarlo. Los niños le dieron la bienvenida, hicieron dibujos en su honor y lo trataron como un príncipe. Número cinco fue feliz y creció para convertirse en un narciso grande, sano y feliz.

2. Once upon a time there were five daffodil bulbs which travelled very far away from home in North Wales. The first one stayed in Sicily, warm and sunny; number two went to Guadeloupe, a tropical island; the third flew to Belgium, the Flemish part; bulb number four visited Poland, so gentle; and number five went to Andalusia, in Spain. Olé! Había una vez cinco bulbos de narcisos que se fueron muy muy lejos de su casa en el Norte de Gales. El primero se quedó en Sicilia, cálida y soleada; el número dos se fue a Guadalupe, una isla tropical; el tercero voló hasta Bélgica, la parte flamenca; el bulbo número cuatro visitó Polonia, tan amable; y el número cinco se fue a Andalucía, en España. ¡Ólé! 2

3. Number Five arrived at the Peñaluenga School. All the children were very happy to meet him! He was only a baby, so they decided to take care of him. Also he needed a pot to be planted in. With the help of Pedro, the school keeper, Number Five was treated like a prince. Número Cinco llegó al colegio Peñaluenga. ¡Todos los niños estuvieron encantados de conocerle! Era tan solo un bebé, así que decidieron cuidarlo. Además necesitaba un tiesto donde ser plantado. Con la ayuda de Pedro, el conserje del cole, Número Cinco fue tratado como un príncipe. 3
