More Democracy is a German NGO that advocates for direct democracy and electoral reform. In 1996, it faced bankruptcy due to high costs and little income. This forced it to implement systematic fundraising. Over the years, it grew its donor base through mailings and established telephone fundraising. While successful, telephone fundraising was resource-intensive. In the 2000s, More Democracy experimented with an outside agency for fundraising calls but found it risked weakening connections with donors. Overall, regular asking for donations through various methods helped More Democracy become a larger, more financially stable organization.

Science Journal - How much space we have in brain and How memory is stored-re...saphyaire Wind
Our brain is magnificent storing device which holds all memory of many decades we live. Many questions arises from the perception we have about our brain,
e.g.
• How much space does our brain have?
• Is there unlimited space in our brain?
• Can our brain hold unlimited memory or information?
• How may gb or tb space is there in our brain?
But our brain isn’t like computer and our memory isn’t stored like data stored in harddrive. In fact, our brain is so efficient it just stores bits and pieces of info of events. When we recall an event, the brain reconstructs the whole event that is why our memory isn’t very vivid and few details changes every time we recall something.
To know, how our brain stores and retrieves memory and how our memory is different from data stored in disc of hard-drive, watch the video in the presentation.

Social media and digital marketing are becoming the new norm in recruiting. Recruiting budgets and volumes are increasing for the first time in 4 years, putting pressure on talent acquisition leaders to scale operations while doing more with less. Competition is the top obstacle to attracting talent, especially for US companies. Social professional networks have become the top source of quality hires, growing 57% over the past 4 years. Employer branding and passive candidate recruitment are also major competitive threats. Mobile recruiting is on the rise as the talent industry embraces new technologies.
This document outlines a course on persuasion, propaganda, and attitude change. It discusses several key theories:
1) Hovland's message-learning approach which examines factors like the source, message, audience, and their influence on persuasion.
2) The cognitive response approach which focuses on the thoughts people have in response to a message, and how favorable thoughts lead to attitude change.
3) The elaboration likelihood model which proposes two routes to persuasion - a central route using careful thought, and a peripheral route using simple cues, with the latter more common in propaganda.
The document provides examples and analysis applying these theories to understand political ads, propaganda techniques, and how to most effectively influence
