Hay 4 tipos de problemas verbales aditivos simples: de cambio, combinación, comparación e igualación. • Los problemas de cambio e igualación describen una relación dinámica, ya que para resolverlos hay que hacer transformaciones de incremento o decremento en los conjuntos. • Los problemas de comparación y combinación por el contrario, solo plantean una relación estática entre sus entidades.
- 3. • Las variables semánticas de los problemas verbales influyen de manera determinante en la complejidad que presentan a los niños para su resolución. • La forma como se plantea el problema también influye, especialmente en los problemas cuyas relaciones semánticas son más complejas, como los de comparación. El texto puede reflejar con mayor o menor claridad estas relaciones.
- 4. • El apoyo de elementos concretos (objetos o los dedos), contribuye a facilitar la comprensión y resolución de los problemas. • La presencia de apoyos visibles o palpables facilita el proceso de representación mental de las relaciones semánticas involucradas en los diferentes problemas, y por lo tanto, su comprensión.
