CrowdTruth for medical relation extraction - WAI talkAnca Dumitrache
I will present the CrowdTruth (http://crowdtruth.org/) approach to performing relation extraction from medical data. CrowdTruth exploits inter-annotator disagreement as a useful signal, allowing us to evaluate data quality, such as ambiguity and vagueness at the sentence level, worker quality, and the quality of the target semantics. I will introduce a workflow for generating gold standard annotations for medical relation extraction through a series of crowdsourcing tasks. Then I will present an evaluation of the crowd data by comparing it with the current gold standard in medical relation extraction. The evaluation is performed by training a relation extraction classifier with both datasets, and comparing the results for F1 measure in a cross-validation experiment.

2. ¿Qué Es Un Ventilador?
Es una maquina rotativa que pone el aire, o un gas en movimiento. También se puede
definir como una turbo maquina que transmite energía para generar la presión necesaria
para mantener un flujo continuo al aire. A diferencia de un compresor, en un ventilador
se asume que el fluido es incompresible, por tanto, en su cálculo no se tomarán en cuenta
las variaciones de densidad y volumen específico.
Clasificación
Los ventiladores se pueden clasificar de la siguiente manera:
• Según la Presión: Ventiladores de alta presión y ventiladores de baja presión.
• Según la Dirección del Flujo: Axiales, radio axiales y centrífugos.
Al igual que en las bombas, la manera como circula el fluido en las aspa del ventilador,
en dirección al eje, da origen a la segunda clasificación, la cual vamos desarrollaremos a
continuación:
3. Ventiladores Axiales
En estos ventiladores, como su nombre lo
indica, el flujo de gases lo atraviesa en
sentido paralelo al eje.
Ventiladores Centrífugos
Se pueden diseñar para baja, media y alta
presión. Sus características en cuanto a
forma, se asemejan bastante a una bomba
centrífuga, sobre todo los centrífugos de alta
presión.
Los ventiladores son fabricados con las
aspas inclinadas hacia adelante o con las
aspas inclinadas hacia atrás, lo cual le
confiere características particulares que se
logran apreciar en las curvas de porcentaje
de rendimiento de los mismos.
4. Cálculos de un Ventilador
Para el cálculo de un ventilador en un diseño en particular, se requiere al igual que el
cálculo de bombas, determinar los caudales a ser suministrados por cada ramal,
calcular las pérdidas en la red de ductos. La ecuación empleada en el cálculo de las
pérdidas de presión, es la siguiente:
Hf = f x( L/D +’) x ((V /2) x (g))
f: coeficiente de pérdida por fricción;
L: longitud del tramo de tubería;
D: diámetro de la tubería;
‘: factor de pérdida por accesorios;
V: es la velocidad del flujo de gas que circula por la tubería;
Perdida:
h= p/Ro;
p: presión generada por el ventilador;
Ro: Constante universal de los gases;
