2. NUMERO PI
No obstante, existen
3. NUMBER PI
The number is defined as the ratio between the length of
a circle to its diameter. It is a letter from the Greek and
has infinite decimal places.
The first was William Oughtred use and its use was
proposed by William Jones
Euclid was the first to demonstrate that the relationship
between a circle and its diameter is a constant quantity.
However, there are various definitions of the number π,
but the most common are:
π is the ratio between the length of a circle to its
diameter.
Susa.
5. HISTORICAL REFERENCE
The ancient Egyptians knew that there was a
relationship between the length of the
circumference to its diameter, and between the
area of the circle and the diameter squared.
In Mesopotamia, more or less the same time, the
Babylonians used the value 3'125 (3 +1 / 8) that is
recorded on the Tablet of Susa.
6. NUMERO E
infinitas cifras decimales no periódicas.
exponencial.
7. NUMBER E
The number e is an irrational number because it
has non-periodic infinite decimal places. Is often
called the Euler number to be its inventor, the
mathematician Leonhard Euler.
The number is very important as the basis for the
exponential, and therefore thought that the name
and by Euler exponential mean.
No
9. HISTORICAL REFERENCE
The first references to the constant were published
in 1618 in the table in an appendix to a work on
logarithms by John Napier. However, this table
does not contain the value of the constant, but was
merely a list of natural logarithms calculated from it.
It is assumed that the table was written by Willia
Oughtred.
The discovery of the constant is credited to Jacob
Bernoulli, who studied a particular problem called
compound interest.
11. THE GOLDEN RATIO
The Golden Ratio is a special issue that is worth
approximately 1.618
Appears many times in geometry, art, architecture
and other areas.
If you divide a line into two parts so that the split
between the court long as the total divided by the
long side then you have the golden ratio.
esculturas.
13. HISTORICAL REFERENCE
In ancient Greece was used to establish the proportions of
temples, both in plan as in their facades. At that time received
no special name because it was so familiar to the ancient
Greeks that "the division of a segment in extreme and reason"
was generally known as "section". In the Parthenon, Phidias
also applied in the composition of the sculptures.
