TASK 5: BIRMINGHAM
TASK: Read the presentation. Reading score.
Circle activities.
Vivo en Birmingham que es una ciudad grande en el centro de
Inglaterra. Es la ciudad más importante después de Londres.
¡Hay mucho que hacer en mi ciudad! En el centro hay varios
tipos de cine, incluso un cine IMAX, que tiene el sonido
envolvente y las películas tridimensionales – es una
experiencia emocionante. Si no quiere ir al cine, puede ir de
compras en el Bull Ring que es un centro comercial enorme con
más de ciento sesenta tiendas. Si las compras no le interesan,
se puede ir a un partido de fútbol en el estadio, un concierto
de música o para comer en un restaurante. El National
Exhibition Centre (NEC) es muy popular y distintos artistas
como Black Sabbath, U2, Tina Turner y Kylie Minogue
cantaron allí. ¡Me encantan los conciertos! Al contrario, no me
gusta nada el fútbol y no estoy aficionada a ni Aston Villa ni
Birmingham City.
Birmingham tiene una gran industria - hay muchas fábricas.
También, hay un aeropuerto internacional que está bastante
cerca de mi casa. ¡Me gusta ir de vacaciones por avión! Mi
ciudad tiene unos museos, monumentos y una catedral que se
puede visitar. Desafortunadamente, no hay ni palacio, ni
puerto, ni castillo. Tiene varios parques pero no tiene un
parque nacional. En la ciudad hay barrios tranquilos y bonitos.
¡Aquí nadie se puede aburrir!
