FOURTH QUATRIENNIAL REPORT PERIOD 2013 TO 2017 TO ECOSOC
2. El equipo trabajando en la elaboración del reporte al
ECOSOC 2013-2017 / The team working on the
development of the report to ECOSOC 2013-2017
El informe cuadrienal al Comité de Economía y Social (ECOSOC) de las Naciones Unidas y del cual tiene reconocimiento
la CIMFC como miembro de estatus consultivo, se debe entregar cada cuatro años; de no hacerlo pierde su
reconocimiento. Para este año 2017 se debe entregar antes del 1 de junio del presente, vía medio electrónico.
The quadrennial report to the United Nations Committee on Economic and Social (ECOSOC) and of which
CIMFC is recognised as a member of consultative status must be delivered every four years; Failure to do so
loses its recognition. For this year 2017 must be delivered before June 1 of the present, via electronic means.

3. Detailed description of each of the 7 fields is provided in the section below under “4. Completing your report”:
Field 1 – A short introduction to your organization in no more than 2 or 3 sentences;
Field 2 - The aims and purposes of your organization in brief, with no more than 2 or 3 sentences;
Field 3 - Any changes that had a significant impact on the work of your organization;
Field 4 – The contribution of your organization to the work of the United Nations;
Field 5 – The participation of your organization in meetings of the United Nations;
Field 6 – Cooperation of your organization with United Nations bodies;
Field 7 – Initiatives taken by your organization in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) until 2015. For reports
that will be submitted beyond 2015, you must refer to initiatives that are being taken in support of the Sustainable Development
Goals (SDGs).

4. INFORME CUATRIENAL PERIODO 2013 AL 2017 (Special Cosultative Status granted in 1989)
BOX 1. INTRODUCCION / INTRODUCTION
La Confederación Internacional de Movimientos Familiares Cristianos orientada a la atención y promoción de las familias en 43 países actualmente de los
cinco continentes / The International Confederation of Christian Family Movements is focused on the care and promotion of families in 43 countries
currently located on the five different continents.
BOX 2. OBJETIVO / PURPOSE
Promover alentar y ayudar a sus confederados para que continúen creciendo en el amor a Dios y al prójimo con la oración y el servicio a otras familias,
como lo proclama el Evangelio y el magisterio de la Iglesia Católica. Promote, encourage and help their confederates to continue growing in love for God
and acquaintances with prayer and service to other families, as proclaimed by the Gospel and the magisterium of the Catholic Church.
Apoya la expansión en los países donde estén establecidos y se esfuerza por establecerlo donde no existe. It supports the expansion in countries where
they are already established and strives to establish it where it doesn’t exist.
BOX 3. CAMBIOS SIGNIFICATIVOS DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN / SIGNIFICANT CHANGES OF THE ORGANIZATION
Se cambió la Sede del Equipo Ejecutivo a Querétaro, México en el año 2013 / The Executive Team Headquarters moved to Querétaro, Mexico in 2013.
BOX 4. CONTRIBUCIÓN DE LA ORGANIZACIÓN AL TRABAJO DE LAS NACIONES UNIDAS / ORGANIZATION’S CONTRIBUTION TO THE UNITED NATIONS.
1. Programas de formación para familias, jóvenes y adolescentes. Training programs for families, youth and adolescents
2. Congresos y asambleas locales, nacionales, e internacionales en pro de la familia. Congresses and local, national, and international assemblies for the
family.
3. Preparación inmediata al matrimonio y encuentros Matrimoniales. Immediate preparation for marriage and marriage encounters
4. Consejería psicológica a matrimonios en conflicto. Psychological counseling to marriages in conflict.
5. Cursos de planeación familiar natural y paternidad responsable / Courses of natural family planning and responsible parenting
6. Servicio a familias no Cristianas / Service to non-Christian families.
5. BOX 5. PARTICIPACION EN REUNIONES DE LAS NACIONES UNIDAS / PARTICIPATION IN UNITED NATIONS CONFERENCES
Se participó en el Congreso de Libertad Religiosa del 28 al 30 de abril del 2016 en la sede de las Naciones Unidas en Nueva York promovido
por CitizenGo con apoyo de la delegación del Vaticano / Participated in the Congress of Religious Freedom, April 28th to 30th, 2016 at the
United Nations Headquarters in New York, promoted by CitizenGo with the support of the Vatican delegation.
BOX 6. COPERACION DE SU ORGANIZACIÓN CON LOS CUERPOS DE LAS NACIONES UNIDAS / YOUR ORGANIZATION’S COOPERATION WITH
THE UNITED NATIONS COMMITTEES.

participation of Csaba and Greta Horvath, confederation delegates and council members of Vienna NGO Committee on the Family.
BOX 7. INICIATIVAS TOMADAS EN SOPORTE DE LAS METAS DEL MILENIO / INITIATIVES TAKEN IN SUPPORT OF THE MILLENNIUM GOALS
Se ha estado trabajando en los puntos 4, 5 y 16, de los 17 establecidos / Work has been done on points 4, 5 and 16 of the 17 established
4. Quality Education: Trabajamos fuertemente en la formación en valores humanos y cristianos con 120,000 familias nucleares, 5,000 familias
monoparentales, 30, 000 jóvenes y adolescentes. Egresando aproximadamente 60,000 en 4 años. We work hard in training in Human and
Christian Values with 120,000 nuclear families, 5,000 single-parent families, 30,000 youth and adolescents. Graduating approximately 60,000
every 4 years.
5. Gender Equality: Se está trabajando en el empoderamiento de la mujer al integrar un programa de formación para familias monoparentales
donde la mujer es cabeza de familia, a la fecha contamos con 5,000 familias. We are working on Women's Empowerment by integrating a
training program for single-parent families where women are head of the household, to date we have 5,000 families.
16. Peace, Justice and strong institutions: Los objetivos de los itinerarios de formación para familias, jóvenes y adolescentes de los
movimientos en su contenido formativo fomenta la vivencia de la paz, la justicia, el respeto y la igualdad / The objectives of the training
itineraries for families, young people and adolescents of the movements in their formative content promote the experience of peace, justice,
respect and equality.
7. 4. Quality Education: Trabajamos fuertemente en
la formación en valores humanos y cristianos con
120,000 familias nucleares, 5,000 familias
monoparentales, 30, 000 jóvenes y adolescentes.
Egresando aproximadamente 60,000 en 4 años.
