1. Bienvenido a una lección más de tu curso de nivel 7, en esta ocasión repasaremos los tiempos
futuros con los cuales podrás expresar no solo tus planes a futuro si no también expresar
predicciones, o decisiones tomadas de manera espontánea, además podrás también de un
futuro que se estará realizando para cuando otra actividad haya terminado ya o este
sucediendo, hay una variedad de futuros, aquí aprenderás los más útiles y comunes en el
idioma inglés. Esperamos que lo disfrutes mucho y te sea de utilidad
Future Tenses
2. Future will
The Future will is used:
• To make predictions about the future, usually with perhaps and probably or after the verbs believe, think, hope,
expect, be sure, etc.
Ex: She’ll probably be here tomorrow
• To talk about spontaneous decisions.
Ex: We’ve run out of milk; I’ll go and buy some.
• For promises.
Ex: I’ll be on time, don’t worry!
• For offers and requests.
Ex: I’ll do the washing-up after dinner.
Will you help me clean my room?
• For threats and warnings
I won’t speak to you again!
4. Future be going to
The Future going to is used:
• To talk about future plans
Ex: My brother is going to study Biology
• To make predictions based on evidence
Ex: Look out! You’re going to trip over that chair.
Time expressions
Tomorrow, tonight, next month/year/week/Tuesday/, etc.
This month/year/week/Tuesday, etc.
In an hour/year, etc.
Soon
5. Future Progressive
The Future Progressive is used:
• To talk about actions that will be in progress at a specific time in the future
Ex: At 9 o’clock tomorrow, she’ll be flying to Egypt.
• To emphasize the duration of an action
Ex: I’ll be lying on the beach all day tomorrow
Structure:
I’ll be working He’ll be sleeping
Will you be working? Will she be sleeping?
They won’t be working It won’t be sleeping
6. Future Perfect
The Future Perfect is used:
• To talk about actions that will be completed before a specific time or another action in the future. The
verb describing the second action is in the Present Simple.
Ex: She’ll have returned by the time you leave
Structure:
I’ll have worked He’ll have slept
Will you have worked? Will she have slept?
They won’t have worked It won’t have slept
Time expressions
By + a point in time (e.g. Sunday), by the time, by then, before, etc.

estructuralmente es decir en cuestión gramatical los temas futuros son los mas sencillos de
manejar aun que su sentido si es un poco complicado a la hora de emplearlos en la cuestión oral
ya que son muy parecidos pero cada uno funciona de una manera distinta y significa un futuro
diferente, vamos desde el futuro will que nos ayudara a expresar una predicción o un futuro
incierto, sin embargo el futuro going to nos ayudara a expresar futuro seguro es decir planeado o
con una alta probabilidad de que se lleve a cabo, mientras el presente progresivo es usado como
fututo inmediato es decir una acción que se realizara en un corto tiempo en el mismo día y el
futuro perfecto que indica lo que habré echo cuando algo mas suceda, esperamos que no se te
haya complicado mucho este tema, dejaremos algunos ejercicios asignados como tarea para que
puedas practicar más.
