La forma imperativa se utiliza para dar
órdenes, dar instrucciones, hacer invitaciones
o dar consejos.
Los verbos se usan en infinitivo sin la
partícula “to”.
La oración no tiene sujeto, se dirige a un
individuo o a un grupo de personas.

AFFIRMATIVE NEGATIVE

Pay attention, please!
Be quiet!
Open the windows!
Write your names!
Turn right!

To make the negative form use the structure:
Do not (Don’t) + verb
Or use the structure:
No + gerund (-ing)

7. IMPERATIVE - Negative
Don’t open the windows, please!
Don’t eat in class!
Don’t use mobile phones!
Don’t turn to the left!
