 The ending for the ellos form is
–eron (without the –i-)

 It’s like the other
irregular preterites,
except it makes a spelling
change in the él form:
– hic- > hiz-

 It’s the same form for both
verbs, and the endings are not
identical to the other irregular
preterite verbs.

 We saw ver in the previous
presentation; dar works in the
same way, even though it’s an
–ar verb.
