¿How to make an Acoustic Guitar?

Choose the type of wood. Wood should be light and durable. Around 50mm of thick. Woods of fir and cedar are the most used and easy to get. 3 plates
of 90cm x 60cm, will be sufficient for this project.
Create the front and rear parts of the acoustic guitar. On two wooden plates, draw the shape of the guitar body. Cut the figure on wood using a band
saw or a jig. Make sure, when you finish parts have the same size and the same shape. Try to do holding two wooden planks with a clamp and passing
through the saw at the same time. Cut a sound hole near the center of the front piece. The bigger, the more acute hole guitar will sound; the smaller the
hole, the sound will be more serious. Consider using a drill with large disk accessory to perform this task.
Work on the sides of the acoustic guitar. Cut two pieces of wood, long enough to wrap the outer half of the body of the guitar. Dip one of those wood
pieces in boiling water for 15 seconds. He begins to mold his hands to take the shape of the silhouette of the guitar. This step should be repeated until
you achieve the desired result. Work quickly and stay calm.
Connects the two sides using some strong blocks and wood to wood adhesive. Hits the sides of the guitar wooden blocks, one above and one below the
blocks they will be contained within the guitar. The appearance of the blocks is not important, but must conform to the dimensions of the guitar. Hold
the sides attached to wooden blocks with a clamp and let dry.
Place the clamps on the front, and on the inside when the glue has dried. Find out where and how you place each bracket, as different locations determine
different sound qualities.
Align the upper and lower lids with the sides, for a point where glue the pieces of the body of the acoustic guitar. To do this, make small notches on a
long, thin piece of wood. This will cause the wood to become flexible. Paste this flexible piece around the side pieces on their top and bottom with a
strong adhesive for wood ends. Let dry.
Use a strong wood glue to adhere to the upper and lower sides of the acoustic guitar parts. Let dry and sand the surface gently. The body of the acoustic
guitar is already assembled. It covers the body of the guitar with any lacquer or varnish you want. Read the instructions provided by the manufacturer,
for best results.
Use a combination of mast and prefabricated bridge for accuracy. Specific instructions come with the mast and the bridge depending on their design.
Most prefabricated masts require you make a small slit. Measure it well and cut a slot in the front of the body of the guitar that matches the mast slot.
This can be easily done with a drill. Center the mast perfectly before pasting. Once centered, attach it to the body of the guitar using wood adhesive
and a clamp to hold them in place while it dries. The bridge is installed with small screws and glue approximately 2.5 cm below the sound hole. Add
the ropes and starts playing.
